Silas Ystrøm founded Optimeo with his brother Kuno and spent more than a decade building and running it — winning the work, keeping the clients, delivering it and carrying the economics. That is the experience behind AgencyOS and Agency Journeys.

2014
Started the digital agency “Optimeo” with my brother Kuno Ystrøm — running sales, client relationships and delivery ourselves.
2015
15 FTE & more than 250 clients within the first year.

Expanded to 1,500 clients and a team of over 70 experts.
100 million exit
▼2019
Sold our digital agency to a private equity fund (CataCap) for a sum of more than 100 million DKK.
Through a strategic alliance with the fund, we merged with our biggest competitor, Danaweb, forging an agency powerhouse with over 15,000 active clients and a 250-strong team in four different offices.
1 billion valuation

Embarked on an M&A journey, acquiring three of our competitors and fortifying our market position.
Head of AI & Technology for 12 months at Scandinavia’s largest group, responsible for AI and technology across the organisation.
